Welcome to Explore Future.
My name is Helge Hasvold. I’m a futurist, living in Norway and this is my blog about Future, Strategy and Change. My ambition is to share ideas and reflections about foresight.
To start with I should share something about myself. I’m a futurist, helping leaders explore the future in order to make better decisions for themselves, their organization and the society. I run my own company called Strategies for the Future (in Norwegian “Strategier for Framtiden”).
The business is based on the dramatic accelerating “time compression”. The frequency of change is growing exponentially and the window of opportunity is dramatically compressed. This will be a significant challenge to the leaders in the years to come.
We address what seems to be impossible – to explore the future. However, it’s not a question about getting the right answer, but to understand what forms the future and know which uncertainties that may change your world giving high impact on your working conditions.
